Flexi-Seal PUD
[Single and 2-Part Options]
Our BRANZ Appraised Flexi-Seal PUD system has been in the market for almost 20 years and has been used very successfully on both internal and external jobs of all types over this time. It is largely used for waterproofing of bathrooms and other internal wet areas, and decks, however, is also used as the key component of a modified system for specified secondary containment in the health and aged care industries.
Understanding the products that form the system, along with correct installation methods are key to any waterproofing job, and like most products, Flexi-Seal PUD must be installed by an Approved Applicator. DGL Bondlast provide the training required and maintain a register of currently Approved Applicators (the training is valid for a 3-year period only after which it must be renewed).
Hydrocoat RL20G
RL20G is a 2-Part water-based epoxy waterproofing membrane designed to withstand up to 5 bar of hydrostatic pressure. It forms a tough abrasion resistant membrane that is resistant to most chemicals and many solvents once fully cured, and yet application equipment can be cleaned up in water.
The above properties give RL20 application for many types of installation including, waterproofing of below grade basements, concrete floor moisture barrier beneath timber flooring, water storage tanks (RL20 has a Potable Water Certificate), tanking for chemical storage installations, and waterproofing of cement-based boards and other substrates for use in specified cladding systems.
Ancillary Products
Butyl-Seal Tapes: are an integral part of our Flexi-Seal PUD system and are also used in other applications such as for tanking systems, window flashings, and more. Butyl-Seal comes in a variety of widths and different construction including foil backed for some of these other applications. Sealants: we carry a small high quality, high performance range of specialty MS and PU sealants to augment our waterproofing and adhesive ranges, and would be happy to discuss your particular application to see whether we can supply a solution for your requirements.
